High Intensity Pigment

As a make-up artist, I had the chance to try different brands, especially the brands in Sephora. Some brands suck but get all the credit because of their name. That's why everyone is so hung up on MAC. Mac cosmetics are bad for your skin and will make you break out. I think Make-Up Forever is amazing and their pigment is a lot stronger than Mac. Urban Decay has always been my favorite and they have the funkiest colors. Tarte's mascara and concealor are my top products in my make-up bag.

I'm also a big fan of L'Oreal's HIP collection. Their eyeshadows pick up lots of pigment just like your ordinary Sephora brands. It doesn't always mean the cheaper cost of the product means it sucks. I always suggest this brand to my clients who don't want to spend too much money on make-up.

Make-up is always about experimenting. Experiment each brand. Don't go buy something because everyone says so. I'm all about trying anything and everything EVEN make-up sold in your local CVS.
